Conuma Resources Repays LEEFF Loan
On Monday, April 24, 2023, Conuma Resources Ltd. (“Conuma”) repaid in full its Large Employer Emergency Financing Facility (LEEFF) loan to Canada Enterprise Emergency Funding Corporation (CEEFC). The loan was approved on October 16, 2020 in the amount of $120 million, and Conuma borrowed the full amount. Conuma’s payments over the course of the loan consisted of $120 million in principal, $19 million in interest and $13 million in fees, for a total of $152 million. The loan agreement between Conuma and CEEFC has now been terminated.
